This is an original antique dated 1900
A photographic souvenir for the Catskills, New York which features real photographs of kittens which are tipped onto a gray medium cardstock mount.
Produced by the photographer Louis C. Bennett., 60 Centre Street, N.Y.
The item measures approximately 10" by 8" and originally had a piece of glass over the front (now lost) which was held in place by black taping around the edges and this format was referred to by the photographer as a Passe Partout a format used rarely in the US but common in Europe.
The condition - aside from missing the glass front the item, is in great condition with no tears or stain and would look nice framed.
This is a nice and Rare item for the collector of either antique photos of cats or Catskill souvenirs.
