These sign are made of white pine (Pinus strobus), which is an common native species found extensively in the Hudson Valley.
Some of the wood may have a bluish tinge to the wood. It’s part of the pine, which is call “blue wood”. I
try to use the knots that are common in the pine as part of the art.
The board measures approximately 16” x 7.25” x .75.
Finished with danish oil.
