The Hendrick Hudson was built for the Hudson River Day Line in 1906 by T.S. Marvel Shipbuilding Co. of Newburgh, N.Y. She was 379’ long, had an inclined compound engine, and six boilers. A handsome and popular boat, the Hudson ran from 1906 through the season of 1948.
